Description: The A&D TM-2420 is a clinically validated and 1-star automatic blood pressure monitor. Measurements are taken from the upper arm and it is intended for ambulatory blood pressure monitoring. This device is now obsolete.
Assessment:

The technology used in the A&D TM-2420, to measure blood pressure, has passed in clinical validation studies, in general populations, according to recognised standard protocols, as published in peer-reviewed publications. It has also been assessed, in a specific population, according to a non-standard protocol.
